Family

Yes, it is overdue, but we are excited to share with you a snippet of our life, our family and all of what God has been doing in, through and for us during this season as Missionaries here in Mexico!

If our life right now could be described in one word it would be: Blessed

This is why:

On October 8th, 2021 we found out that we were pregnant! I can't begin to describe the excitement that we felt in this moment. Imagine, we are already living a dream serving God, rescuing children and doing life alongside some amazing people and missionaries! But, now (as of June 12th, 2022) we get to do all of this with our little mini blessing in our arms!

The Ministry God is so good and we want to share with you a little bit of what he is doing in the ministry and among the children! The heart of the ministry is to rescue One More, no matter the cost. If we can just take one more child off of the streets, out of situations of abuse and neglect then we are happy and confident that God will do the follow-up and change hearts for His kingdom! We have been able to see first hand how lives are being impacted and hearts are being transformed by a love that only comes from Him.

Our Areas of Service

ree

Ame

After having taken a few months off for maternity leave, Ame is now back and serving in Nations School, not only impacting the lives of the orphanage kids but also influening, in a positive way, many students that attend Nations School from the community through a christ-centered education.

Brandon

I continue in my role as Short-Term Missions Coordinator for the ministry. I host teams from all over the nation and provide an environment for individuals to serve and show God's love to many underprivileged children that, in most cases, had previously never felt what love is even from their parents who were meant to love them but instead abandoned them.

Lives Changed

This is Javier. He arrived along side his 3 siblings coming from a situation at home where they would be left the majority of the time to take care of and fend for themselves. You can find Javier smiling 90% of the time and he is a great hugger! Those of us that have the honor of know Javier are always blessed by his presense he just always lightens the mood around him!

Lizeth is a happy and very funny little daughter of God. She dreams of one day being a professional wrestler like her mother once was. Lizeths Father passed away and her mother was injured leaving the family with limited resources and for this reason her mom brought her and her siblings to Esperanza Viva!

The Reyes kids have become a wonderful testimony of the healing power of God. These children, before arriving home with us were stuck in an abusive situation until their mother was able to get them out. The kids were not schooled and they lacked some of the most basic resourses needed to survive and this is when their mother decided to bring them to us here at Esperanza Viva. These kids are now flourishing not only in school but also in their personality and character. They are some of the most noble, loving and sweetest children I have met.

Prayer Request and Current Needs

Please join us in prayer for

  1. Wisdom and Patience as we continue this journey of becoming the best parents for Theo that God wants us to be.

  2. Focus and Strength as we continue to serve with full hearts in this place that God has established for us during this season.

  3. Full Support so that our family and ministry needs may be met, which will allow us to redirect more of our attention and focus on the mission. We are currently right around 50% funded.

Current Needs:

We are currently raising funds and preparing to sell our car in order to purchase a larger vehicle . The main dirt road to get to the orphanage has huge pot holes and bumps that little by little are destroying our small car and we really need something a bit bigger that will also last through the years as our family grows. We ask that you please pray for us during this time that God may provide this need for our family.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:5
