To give an intro in to these ''Life in the dorm'' blogs, I would first like to share a little bit of how I got here.

It starts 8 years ago when I took my first trip to the orphanage Esperanza Viva (EV). I was 14 years old and super excited to experience my first mission trip. I arrived to Puebla, Mexico and quickly fell in love with the people, the culture, the children and the language. When I made it to the orphanage they gave us tours of all of the different ministries that they had along with the orphanage. One of those ministries was La Viña. A 5 month long ministry training institute for young adults. During my time visiting and serving at EV my life was changed forever when God let me know that one day I would be back as a full-time missionary. I still remember it as if it were yesterday. The next day, I told my mom (who had also gone on that trip with me): ''I want to go to La Viña, but I don't speak Spanish''. My mom responded with ''Well, you better start learning''; and 8 years later... Ecclesiastes 3
